Balluff training courses open day
28 May 2019
Aimed at HR and company trainers, Balluff is holding an open day to highlight its training courses on Wednesday 5th June at its Cheshire headquarters. Unlike other automation training that can be mostly theoretical, Balluff's offering emphasises skills, providing the opportunity to participate in hands-on applications.
Open day attendees will get a tour of Balluff's showroom and exhibition centre and the chance to talk to trainers about the benefits of the courses. Refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
Below are three examples of the training courses Balluff can offer; these courses can also be tailored to specific needs. This can include process improvement, maintenance and engineer and design.
Sensor Technology Training – Overview of knowledge on sensor technology and compendium of terms: various sensor types, principles of operation, design and function. Exercises on sensor calibration, parameterisation and installations. Sensor selection: criteria, application and use, connectivity, free zones, IP protection degrees etc.
Vision Training – During the training, you can set our vision systems up yourself. You will be taught the basics of image processing and lighting, functionality and applications, the understanding of available tools and operation and configuration options.
IO-Link Training – This course is designed to introduce participants to the basic functionality, capabilities, operating principles and benefits of IO-Link. Participants will configure IO-Link devices including slave devices and master devices. It provides simple installation, central parameterisation and continuous diagnostics.
Both the HR Open Day and Training Courses will be held on site at Balluff. The premises are open from 8.30am and close at 5pm.
