Configurator for individual marking of marking materials
12 June 2025
THE MARKING Configurator marking solution from Phoenix Contact makes it possible to order individually marked marking materials for identifying terminals, conductors, cables, devices, and systems.

The configurator is characterised by its high level of user-friendliness and flexibility in the individual design of marking solutions. The ordering process is simple, transparent, and completely digitalised – starting from a batch size of one.
When it comes to industrial identification, there are numerous and different requirements. This applies not only to the requirements regarding the areas of application, mounting types, or durability of an individual marker, but also to the production and procurement process for marking materials. In the event that the appropriate marking system is not available in production, order peaks have to be managed, or maintenance work has to be bridged, ready-to-use markings can be easily ordered with the Marking Configurator.
For the specific requirements, more than 2000 standard materials from Phoenix Contact are available for individual marking. Intuitive and efficient editing functions with a context-sensitive menu structure simplify the handling of the online configurator. It includes comprehensive design options for text, images, logos, symbols, barcodes, and more. Errors can be avoided by displaying a digital image of the individual marking.
Projects can be conveniently saved and called up via the “My Solutions” project overview for repeat orders. The consistently digitalised and transparent ordering process for individually and fully marked marking solutions with zero printing costs promises a high degree of flexibility and efficiency.
