Thermal protection for high nominal currents
11 May 2022
TCP THERMAL device circuit breakers from Phoenix Contact are being extended to devices with higher nominal currents with the TCP 10 variant.

With this expansion, it is now possible to provide thermal overload protection of up to 20 A for larger loads. In combination with the PT 10-FSI/C terminal block portfolio, applications up to 250 V AC and 65 V DC can be equipped with simple basic protection. TCP products are suitable for replacing existing fuses with re-closable variants, thereby minimising maintenance effort.
The two-piece construction offers the possibility of simple change-out. Potential distribution can easily be achieved via the terminal block bridge shaft, considerably reducing installation effort.
