GEARBOXES AND GEARED MOTORS FOR EVERY REQUIREMENT

High efficiency Rehfuss worm and helical worm gearboxes are high performance drives. There are 2 series available. Cast iron housings for heavy duty demands and light but rugged aluminium housings for less severe applications. All are available as gearbox only.

 

Geared motor – Smooth Body Rehfuss helical gearboxes / geared motors provide an optimum combination of ratio and power. Various sizes with a wide range of ratios are available.We also have specials such as a stirrer unit with a specially modified output bearing and lengthened shaft.We can also offer a range of shaft mounted in line gearboxes. These are especially practical for materials-handling technology or hoist applications.

 

PRODUCTS FOR FOOD AND PHARMACEUTICAL APPLICATIONS

Machinery used in the food and pharmaceutical industrial sectors, demand hygienic design. Examples for such applications are packaging technology markets. For these special applications, Rehfuss offers two optimum solutions:

• The SB range consist of smooth bodied motors to IP66 enclosure and have the same gearbox designs as the Helical, worm, helical worm and parallel shaft -series. Hygienic design including smooth surfaces, no fins or fans, coupled with food grade lubrication and paint, offer a perfect solution.

• The SMN-series, are gearboxes and motors made from stainless steel. This product is an optimum solution for applications where cleanness, hygiene and increased demands for material quality are important. Dirt or bacteria sources cannot be deposited on the totally smooth surface. The motors need no cooling fins or fans and have an IP66 enclosure. The material used offers corrosion resistance.

 

FULL RANGE OF INVERTERS

For many applications speed or current control is essential. Powers from 0.25 kW and above are offered ex stock. The units are offered up to IP66 with and without controls. Panel mounting IP20 units are also available offering full torque from 1 Hz with no need for encoder feedback.

 

 

SPECIAL DRIVES AND CUSTOMIZED SOLUTIONS

Rehfuss started making textile machinery 60 years ago. The focus then changed to high quality power transmission products. Out of this experience and our commitment to working closely with customers, we have generated many special designs.

This offers a potential for a specifically designed unit. Geared motor units supplied with specially designed couplings between the motor and gearbox mean that ultimate flexibility can be offered on stock holding and many different types of motor including servo can be fitted. The coupling also lends itself to heavy applications where an element of shock is present.

 

Torque limiter and or shrink disc

A torque limiter can be placed within the gearbox.With the torque limiter in the housing of the gearbox, higher environmental protection is given. The shrink disc gives a keyless fixing on the output of the gearbox. This creates a bond which gives 360 degree connection.
