UKIVA to launch Vision Integrator Standard at conference
10 June 2024
The countdown is on for the UK Industrial Vision Association (UKIVA) Machine Vision Conference which opens its doors at the Coventry’s CBS Arena on 18 June 2024. The two-day event is expected to attract over a thousand of visitors from a range of businesses across the UK and further afield.

The new Vision Integrator Standard has been developed to help System Integrators (SI’s) stand out from their competitors, win more business and improve the overall standard of Sis in the UK. The standard is open to UKIVA members and the wider UK vision industry. It sets out areas that UKIVA considers as being vital for all integrators who operate within this competitive industry. The standard is seen as a further benefit to the portfolio of member benefits that already exist. This will be an additional attraction for end users of vision equipment to visit UKIVA’s website to aid them in their selection of their next vision integrator.
Scott McKenna, chief operating officer at Automate UK, commented on the upcoming Machine Vision Conference, saying: “This year’s event will bring together the entire machine vision industry. It will be a prime opportunity for visitors to engage with the latest innovative machine vision and imaging technologies. What’s great about this confex is that it offers something for everyone, from cutting-edge solutions and inspiring seminars to valuable face-to-face networking opportunities.”
MVC exists to promote the use of image processing technology, educate visitors about new innovative processes and act as a vehicle for businesses to discover the latest thought-provoking technologies that can help them improve efficiency and deliver financial benefits.
Visitors to MVC can participate in a vast array of talks that provide hours of free learnings to take away for consideration how they can be implemented in their own business. These are delivered by over 30 leading industry experts throughout the confex, including Thomas Detjen - Emergent Vision Technologies, Tim Tanner – Scorpion Vision, Viktor Smedby – SICK, and Mark Williams – Basler.
Visitors who are considering machine vision for their business or looking to improve their existing solutions will find all they need at MVC. It is an ideal place to explore a wide range of the latest innovative technologies and solutions. Over 50 well-known brands will be showcasing their cutting-edge solutions, including IDS Imaging Systems, Drew Lear Technology, Midwest Optical Systems, Gardasoft Vision, Balluff, Effilux, Lambda Photometrics, Teledyne Dalsa, and Wenglor Sensoric.
MVC is once again co-located alongside Automation UK, organised by British Automation and Robot Association (BARA), providing visitors to MVC 2024 with an additional benefit of being able to visit Automation UK to explore the latest automation and robotics technologies, all under one roof.
