AUMA HAS expanded its PROFOX actuator series with the launch of the explosion-proof PROFOX-X, designed for safe operation in hazardous environments. Certified for ATEX and IECEx gas group IIC T4, including hydrogen applications, PROFOX-X ensures reliable performance in explosive atmospheres.
Like the entire PROFOX range, the PROFOX-X series offers multi-turn, part-turn, and linear actuators, making it compatible with various valve types. Its compact design is ideal for tight spaces, while its energy-efficient operation minimises its carbon footprint. Engineered in Germany, PROFOX-X features a robust build, wide temperature tolerance, and corrosion protection for long-term durability.
With adjustable motor speed, soft start/stop functions, and flexible fieldbus and Industrial Ethernet integration, PROFOX-X enhances automation efficiency. Embedded data logging supports predictive maintenance via AUMA’s CORALINK ecosystem. User-friendly setup via an app and the intuitive FOX-EYE LED indicator simplify operation and monitoring.
