Electric Cylinders
12 October 2012
A new range of high performance electric cylinders will be launched by SKF at this year’s Drives & Controls exhibition.

The CASM electric cylinders have been developed for use in a variety of technically and environmentally demanding applications, ranging from component handling, welding and clamping, to packaging and general automation. In each case, the new CASM electric cylinders are capable of providing up to 5400N of static force, at speeds of over 1m/sec, with stroke lengths of up to 800mm, and backlash of just ±0.01mm.
The CASM electric cylinders have been introduced to meet the demand for energy efficient, reliable and high performance alternatives to traditional pneumatic or hydraulic devices. Stand P-D01
