Modular Platform
16 January 2013
At the recent Valve World Expo 2012, AUMA highlighted the modular advantages of its electric actuator design and shared news of its latest actuation advancements.
Meeting wide ranging requirements for industrial valve automation, the flexibility of the AUMA solution means the company’s actuation technology meets the automation demands of industrial valves across a broad specification – i.e. explosion or weather proof, with or without Fieldbus and catering for pipeline diameters from 100mm to several metres.
The company also announced the imminent launch of the AUMA SQ .2 part-turn actuator range, which is based on a platform introduced by AUMA in 2010 for the SA.2 multi- turn actuator. This means installation, commissioning and operation are virtually the same, simplifying maintenance and spares procurement.
