Heavy Duty Connector

The 21BV is a round, single-pole insulated connector that provides reliable operation for as many as 5000 mating cycles.

Applications include connecting mobile generator sets, standby power units, switchgear, event cabling, test facilities and other uses where copper cables need to be joined together or plugged into panel mounted sockets.

The 21BV has a number of advantages over Multi-Contact’s comparable 30BV connector, being more compact, easier to assemble and with a higher current carrying capacity of 800A.

The 21mm diameter CAT III connector provides protection to IP65 and IP68 when mated.
