Driving efficiency

01 July 2013

Designed to make drive systems more efficient, Centa's new range of electromagnetic clutches is compatible with all types of auxiliary drives.

Available in seven different sizes from 400 to 7800, the new Centa clutch can be fitted directly to the engine SAE flange or mounted independently and driven from the non-flywheel end. Drives from the EMC can be mounted to hydraulic pumps, UJ shaft flanges or any of the Centa shaft drives.

Designed for versatility and practicality, the product is said to integrate into drive systems more easily than a normal clutch. The easy to use remote control capability makes it possible to operate from a distance.

A 'traffic light" system on the control panel keeps the user updated on operational status, while the water-tight metal casing means the unit can be used in all weather conditions on all types of equipment, vehicles and vessels.
