Friction Discs

Friction discs play a decisive role in drive technology. In transmissions and clutches, as well as axle and steering systems, they produce the optimum torque transfer depending on the contact pressure, rpm and friction.   For several months now, a renowned manufacturer has been placing his trust in stamped and lasered parts from Georg Martin for the production of friction discs.

Usually only 0.1 mm thick, these sheet metal parts are made of high-quality spring steel strips which serve as the carrier material for a diamond granulate applied in a thermal process.
