X-coded M12 connectors
23 April 2014
Enhancing its extensive range of M12 connectors, Binder has introduced with a new series of 8-pole, X-coded connectors. With data transmission of up to 10Gbit/s they are aimed at applications using industrial Ethernet protocols such as PROFINET.

The high bandwidth is achieved by isolating the four pairs of wires from one another with a cross or X-coding shield. The X-coding conforms to the industry standard IEC 61076-2-109 and is specified for broadband transmission by Ethernet protocols including PROFINET.
The basic M12 connector design that is renowned throughout the world for its compact size and robustness is ideal for applications that endure extreme environmental conditions.
