Rapid response safety light curtains

The SC2 integrated light curtain is available for both hand detection to 30mm and presence detection to 90mm and offers rapid response times between 8 and 21ms. Each unit provides a controlled height range up to 1500mm and uses reset/text + automatic restart auxiliary functions whilst complying to PL d according to EN ISO 13849-1; SIL 2 according to IEC 61508 and IEC 62061.

The SC4 variants offer 14mm finger and 30mm hand detection.Connection is simplified using standard connectors, making no connection between emitter and receiver necessary and complies with PL e according to EN ISO 13849-1; SIL 3 according to IEC 61508 and IEC 62061. Selectable EDM and Manual/Automatic Restart function, as well as improved response times are said to make the new SC4 range one of the best performing safety light curtains for industrial applications.
