Automation platform expanded
31 July 2015
Omron has enhanced the scalability of the Sysmac range with the introduction of the NJ1 Machine Automation Controller, which is fully compatible with the existing Sysmac range.

Units share a common concept, dimensions, general specifications, and functionality. The NJ1 is ideal for machines with a low number of motion axes, with 2 processors offering 2 physical axes + 4 virtual axes, or none at all.
Programming is based on global standards and open networks allowing the construction of standardised systems. These controllers offer synchronous control of all machine devices and advanced functionality such as motion, safety and vision. This concept allows users to simplify the solution architecture, reducing programming and optimising productivity.
For a limited period Omron is offering the chance to access the advanced functionality provided by the Sysmac automation platform with the introduction of the NJ1 Starter Kit, at a fraction of the UK list price.
