Steel drive tape technology

The tapes offer low mass, virtually no stretch and the precision tolerance in keeping robotic arms functioning. Drive tape ends are reinforced with standard or custom end tabs which can be designed to include perforations for locating pins or attachment anchors.

The drive tapes are said to be particularly suited to demanding environments requiring rapid acceleration, improved productivity, high levels of repeatability and positioning accuracy. Applications include remote robotics for medical/surgical operating equipment; robotic arm actuators; and semi-conductor robotics for cleanroom production equipment.
