We have the sole UK distributorship for the old ‘Powerdrive’ & ‘PIX’ designed shaft mounted gearbox, covered by our brand name of HIS. It remains a popular gearbox in heavy plant machinery.
From stock we carry SMGU’s in both keyed hub and keyless (better known as taper grip) options. Both ranges are available in 11 sizes with normal ratios of 5:1, 13:1 & 20:1. Special sizes are available to manufacture on request.
Our taper grip and support bushes in our keyless range are made from stainless steel to prevent fretting, corrosion and help to have easy removal, even after being fitted for years!
Both ranges are available in metric and imperial bore sizes along with, offering the best performance and reliability through the innovation and changes that we have added to the manufacturing since taking the production under our brand HIS.
