A producer of standard single phase, three phase and brake motors, in efficiency class IE2 and IE3, and with accreditation for ATEX and CSA/UL requirements, Carpanelli is also known for its special and non-standard motors which meet customers’ specific requirements.

The company will be showing a range of product examples that demonstrate its ability to resolve motor design problems. New on the stand will be the Carpanelli MSS Stainless Steel Motors for food and process applications where overall cleanliness and wash down protection is required.

The MSS Motor is protected against water ingress from wash down to IP66 protection. Available in powers from 0.12 to 0.75kW, 4 Pole, 230/400 Volts, 3 Ph, 50Hz supply, in frame sizes M71 and M90 with either B5 or B14 flange and shaft.

The Microvert and Minivert are examples of Carpanelli’s standard motor/inverter combinations for powers up to 1.1kW. The inverter is completely contained in the standard terminal box of a motor. Similar products have been developed for compressors, cow brushes and helicopter fans for stables and cattle sheds.

Brake motors are not normally designed to work in applications where the motor is inverter driven, but the Carpanelli MAI AC brake motor has a special electromagnetic spring-applied, failsafe brake whose engagement is directly activated by the inverter through the motor terminals. Stand D730
