Of particular note, the new Microvert mini variable speed motor features an integrated frequency inverter within standard dimensions of an electric motor, resulting in savings in space, weight and price. Microvert is also said to be highly energy efficient, generate minimal heat and be very quiet in operation.

With powers from 0.01kW to 0.2kW and available in IEC frame sizes 56 and 63, Microvert gives system designers the option to use a compact, asynchronous motor powered directly from a single phase line.

Suitable for applications that call for high start-up torque and controlled acceleration/deceleration, typically Microvert will be used to drive actuators, conveyors, small pumps and blowers, ventilators and food processing machinery.
