Based on experience of drive that have been tried and tested over a thousand times in pallet conveyor systems, Lenze Smart Products take a new approach for faster and safer selection. Fourteen geared motor drives have been preconfigured to suit practically all chain and roller conveyors that carry pallets. These Smart Products offer a turnkey solution saving engineering time, achieving fast deliveries and easy installation.

The selection process reaches a new level of simplicity. Designers need only choose between a chain or roller conveyor, an inline or right-angle gearbox, and the payload from 500 to 5200kg. It is as quick and easy as that, and in each case a proven geared motor with integrated contactor and soft start/stop is the result. With the online selection process, downloads are immediately available for the drive technical data, CAD drawings, Eplan macros, dimensioning data and mounting instructions. There is no need to spend time sizing the drive and searching out technical data. Each of the 14 geared motor drives is energy efficient and future-proofed to meet anticipated machine legislation.

All Smart Product drives comprise a gearbox with 94% efficiency from the g500 series plus a Lenze Smart Motor, a combination proven on thousands of pallet conveyors worldwide. The Smart Motor is ready for mains connection and has integrated electronics that allows four freely selected forward and reverse speeds plus a stop. Horizontal speeds range from 0.1 to 0.5 m/s. As well as the speeds, soft start/stop ramps up to 20 seconds can be set with a NFC enabled smartphone and a Lenze app. No panel space for contactors and soft starts is required reducing installation time and costs.
