OPC for increased visibility

The basis for this is OPC Unified Architecture (OPC UA), an up-to-date standard from the OPC Foundation. The open platform means that the parameters of Lenze controllers can be read and written with software from another supplier.

Another benefit for customers is that OPC UA allows safe remote maintenance for Lenze products by means of a standardised protocol with encrypted communication.

Using Easy Starter and the Lenze OPC UA Server allows transparent access to PLCs such as the  Lenze 3200 C controller, to HMIs such as the p300 and p500, and to drives such as the 9400 servo and 8400 frequency inverters.
