Compact powerful drive
04 April 2017
Reported to offer high performance control and excellent power-to-dimension ratio, Motion Control Products has introduced the new MKN series MACK Nano drive, an ultra-compact, versatile and powerful universal drive.

In a matchbox size of 74 x 23 x 43mm, this MKN series universal drive can drive brushless DC motors, stepper motors and DC brushed motors up to 400W. The drive has 12-48VDC input and rated current of 8A continuous, with an optional range of feedback devices such as incremental encoders, Hall, tachometer and sensorless feedback. It also supports CANopen, RS485 and Clock & Direction command. ModBus-RTU interface is also available as an option.
Equipped with a Windows-based Speeder-One software interface, the MKN drive is fully programmable and provides USB access for setting and monitoring, making it suitable for most of modern industrial applications such as CNC axis control, textile machines, conveyors, coding machines, printing machines, packing machines, door operator, antenna positioners, sewing machines and so forth.
