Zero defect output
08 May 2017
At the Manufacturing & Engineering North East exhibition, Kistler Instruments will be focussing on production monitoring for zero defect output with a demonstration of high speed component quality testing using the Kistler maXYmos system combined with the new Type 9217 high precision, low force piezoelectric force sensor.
The new sensor has a measurement threshold of less than one millinewton making it especially suited to testing delicate, miniature components. On the stand, the sensor is used to automatically test that a miniature switch component operates within specification without causing damage. The profile of the force applied to the component is monitored by the maXYmos system allowing automatic rejection of any individual component that is out of specification.
In addition, Kistler will be showing ComoNeo, the latest cavity pressure monitoring system for injection moulding, the NC range of electromechanical actuators for press fit production applications and wide range of piezoelectric sensors for measuring acceleration, force, pressure and torque.
