Insulated system protection
18 August 2026
WITH THE new PTCB TM2 two-position thermal-magnetic device circuit breakers, Phoenix Contact is providing a state-of-the-art solution for high operational safety in insulated systems. The narrow width and ability to bridge to the Clipline complete terminal block range enable quick and easy integration into existing systems.

Two-position circuit breakers are the ideal solution for protecting 24 V circuits in insulated systems. They safely disconnect all positions of the load from the supply in the event of an overload, even if ground faults create unintentional current paths. As a result, this protection concept allows a single ground fault without immediate shutdown. The various circuit breakers have a space-saving width of just 16.4 mm.
The integrated signaling saves additional installation space and makes the circuit breaker an ideal slimline solution. The base elements can be bridged to the Clipline complete terminal block range. The tool-free Push-in connections simplify wiring. The switching state can be clearly identified at any time.
The thermal-magnetic tripping characteristic makes the PTCB TM device circuit breakers particularly suitable for applications with high startup currents and dynamic loads. They combine reliable protection with a high level of robustness in daily operation.
