ERIKS launches multi-level reliability service
13 February 2025
ERIKS UK and Ireland has developed a multi-level reliability service to support its customers in ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime, and optimising performance. By combining cutting-edge Smart Asset Management (SAM) technologies with hands-on condition monitoring these services offer manufacturers greater operational reliability.

ERIKS Smart Asset Management (SAM) platform forms the backbone of the digital condition monitoring offering. Using state-of-the-art IoT sensors and telemetry, SAM provides live data on critical assets, tracking vibration, lubrication, temperature and more. By analysing this data through advanced algorithms, SAM delivers actionable insights that enable customers to predict and prevent failures. SAM’s intuitive smart dashboard simplifies data interpretation, helping maintenance teams make informed decisions in real-time
SAM’s cloud-based system integrates data from multiple assets, giving customers a full view of their equipment's condition, both current and historical. The platform allows operators to plan predictive maintenance activities that reduce unplanned downtime and optimise overall asset performance.
Alongside its digital solution, ERIKS offers a full range of hands-on condition monitoring services. These include thermographic imaging, vibration analysis, ultrasound surveys, and oil sampling, designed to detect and address physical issues in equipment. ERIKS engineers perform on-site evaluations to identify wear and tear before it leads to breakdowns, ensuring that customers can take proactive maintenance actions.
By integrating both digital monitoring and hands-on services, ERIKS ensures that no potential issue is overlooked, offering a truly comprehensive condition monitoring solution.
Customised reliability services: A three-tiered approach
- Standard: This entry-level solution offers sensors from a choice of leading OEMs and is for those that require straightforward anomaly detection. It includes self-installation and simple app-based monitoring, providing early warnings and anomaly notifications through regular data collection every 1 to 4 hours. This package is ideal for businesses seeking a simple solution that does not require integration with the ERIKS Reliability SAM platform, or for those who are looking to take the first steps in improving reliability.
- Advanced: A simple and intuitive system powered by ERIKS’ innovative reliability platform, which provides smart algorithmic data analysis and actionable insights. The customer installs and manages the system, benefitting from hourly data collection and comprehensive documentation capabilities. Onboarding and training sessions are included to help customers fully use the features of the platform.
- Professional: The most complete offering, the professional level is designed, installed, and fully managed by ERIKS. This tier includes proactive monitoring of assets by ERIKS with ongoing support throughout the contract. Featuring a wide range of sensor options and detailed data collection (every two minutes) the professional tier is ideal for sites where uptime is critical. It converts insight into actionable solutions and customers get priority access to experts and workshops to ensure system optimisation and operational continuity is maximised.
By offering this flexible, tiered service structure, ERIKS ensures that every business, regardless of size or complexity, can access the reliability solution that best fit their operational needs.
