Engineering Talent Search

The award has two categories – students and industry professionals – with a grand prize of up to £1000. For industry, the prize fund will contribute to the research and development of the winning idea. For students, the prize fund will be put towards university tuition fees.

The task is to abstract an innovative design that incorporates a Parvalux Electric Motor. The designer has a vast selection of geared motors at their disposal as displayed on the product page on the Parvalux website. Entries are encouraged to be innovative and environmentally friendly whilst being practical and commercial.

Technical director Dr. Martin Mathias is eager to celebrate Great British expertise and innovation and encourages engineering professionals with a passion for their field to enter, "We’re looking for a great idea. We’re not judging how sophisticated the drawings are, it’s all about the idea. If you’re a lucky winner, we will help to bring your idea into reality.”
