Farnell appoints new VP of eCommerce

Arfan Sabir brings a wealth of experience after delivering digital leadership roles at Mothercare, Dreams, Currys/PC World, Epson and Kokoba, in addition to serving as Global Director of eCommerce for LEGO Group, where he spearheaded the digital transformation and increased on-line revenue by 275% in a two year period.

Most recently, Sabir was personally appointed by Touker Suleyman of Dragons Den fame to grow his portfolio of businesses and investments online with a key focus and bias on leading the turnaround of Hawes & Curtis, the largest business within the portfolio.

Sabir said: “My key focus is to strategically accelerate Farnell to become a digital first business that will significantly enhance the experience for our valued customers and suppliers."
