LARGEST RANGE OF MARINE-CERTIFIED HMIS SETS SAIL
29 October 2012
The world’s largest range of marine-certified human machine interfaces (HMIs) is now available in the UK from M.A.C Solutions
All HMIs are tested and approved by all the major nautical associations and members of the International Association of Classification Societies (I.A.C.S.), including Det Norske Veritas (DNV), Germanischer Lloyd (GL), Lloyds Register (LR), and the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS). This comprehensive portfolio of marinecertified HMIs, manufactured by Beijer Electronics, provides full control, monitoring and handling of on-board systems with spacesaving efficiency. HMIs start from 4.3in displays up to 23in widescreen versions.
The iX Panel Pro Nautic series represents the next-generation of HMI solutions. With all the same features as Beijer’s EPC nautic series, including pre-installed iX runtime software for instant operation, a powerful open PC platform, network dimming for optimal night vision, and long life components for maximum availability. The series comprises four models with 15, 17, 19 and 23in high contrast TFT touchscreen display.
The iX HMI panel series, combines high-performance hardware finely tuned for iX HMI solutions with a robust design and lightweight aluminium construction. Nine standard sizes are available, six of these with touchscreen interface from 4.3 up to 15in. All iX Panels include an unlimited iX runtime software.
Operator panels from Beijer are available in a wide range of sizes and configurations, with a number of powerful, common features. HMIs can therefore be tailored to suit the needs of any offshore oil & gas or marine environment. These features include: alarm management; data logging; dual drivers with data exchange; macros; I/O poll interval groups; message libraries; multiple languages; network functionalities; password security; real time clock and time channels; web functionality; reporting; and historic or real time trending.
The MT Nautic Monitor series operates with or without touchscreen, offering the specific functions to enable automation and navigational tasks and featuring narrow depth for easy installation.
These monitors can be used in conjunction with Beijer’s EPC nautic box or third party computers, providing excellent quality displays of nautical charts or machine data with adjustable dimming to zero locally, or remotely using serial or USB.
