CamdenBoss’ X series range of heavy duty electrical enclosures are popular due to their stand out features and practicality. Split into three product types, the X series addresses different applications and tasks within smart factory environments. The X6 range features metric sized knockouts on the base of the enclosure; providing an easy to use system for cable glands to be inserted, whilst retaining the high IP67 rating (evident through the entire X series). This characteristic is useful for cable junctions, wall boxes and machinery controls where push buttons and switches can be placed into the front face.

The X7 range is built for tough industrial applications; large corner pillars provide extra protection to an already heavy duty housing. Customers can make practical use of the large internal spacing that comes with the X7; capable of housing large component assemblies and electronic devices. Inside are brass inserts and mounting pillars, ideal for mounting DIN Rails.

Lastly, the X8 range can be used for centralised control and drive systems. It has large internal space is ideal for single or multiple DIN Rail systems, with the peace of mind of high protection. The hinged and latch door system is practical for maintenance and operation functions and each enclosure has a set of accessories for customisation.

CamdenBoss has worked with engineers to provide a selection of enclosures that are capable of working in harmony, such as DIN Rail mountable CNMBs and CDIB enclosures or pre-built interface modules that can all be used in partnership with the X series, saving the trouble for OEM’s to source other types of enclosures from other manufacturers.
