Shaker Puts Environmental Testing Laboratory Ahead
16 January 2013
Visitors to TÜV SÜD Product Service’s stand can see how the company’s investment in a new large vibration shaker will make it the UK’s leading environmental testing laboratory.

For the first time, industry will have access to three large vibration shakers on a single site, backed up by complementary environmental testing services, such as climatic, altitude and lightning testing, to provide a ‘one-stop-shop’ service. This will significantly reduce the time to market for UK manufacturers and minimise testing costs.
The new vibration shaker will be operational at TÜV SÜD’s Fareham laboratory from February 2013.
TÜV SÜD’s experts will also be speaking at Southern Manufacturing’s seminars on Thursday 14th February and will be available for advice at TÜV SÜD’s stand.
Session 7 – Paul Laidler will present an ‘Introduction to Machinery Safety’ – an overview of legal responsibilities and the impact of new technologies on the machinery safety lifecycle.
Session 20 – Richard Poate will present ‘CE Marking for Consumer Products and Professional Electronics’ – guiding delegates through the CE marking requirements for equipment sold on the European Market. Stand H54
