Power & Energy Analyser
08 October 2024
It is reported that manufacturers of power conversion devices such as inverters, motors and even complete electric drive train are turning to the Hioki 3390 Power Analyzer for answers regarding the efficiency of their designs.
Available from GMC Instrumentation (www.gmiuk.com), the unit has found application across the renewables, electric vehicles and high-efficiency motor industries.
Many new power conversion devices require higher voltage and current measurement than before; the Hioki 3390 Power Analyzer offers 7 voltage ranges from 0...15V right up to 0...1500V along with current measurements up to 1000A via a range of precision current sensors. Basic voltage measurement accuracy is 0.1% and current measurement accuracy via precision current sensors is 0.16%. Frequency range covers DC and 0.5Hz to 150kHz across all 4 isolated measurement channels.
