Adhesives provide numerous design and performance advantages but at this year’s Engineering Design Show Henkel is focusing on aesthetic qualities by highlighting two crystal clear products – a new silicone, Loctite 5700, and a new addition to the Macromelt range of high performance hotmelt products.
Loctite 5700 is an encapsulating compound that has been developed for tasks such as sealing energy efficient LED arrays, advertising signs, illuminated lettering and other outdoor applications. It is a highly transparent, two component silicone which offers good adhesion on substrates such as metal, glass and plastics.
The second new addition is a clear version of the proven Macromelt hotmelt overmoulding compounds. Stand E25
