District cooling
24 October 2013
SIPOS Aktorik has been awarded a contract to supply electric actuators to a district cooling scheme for a Jabal Omar development.
Managed by Saudi Tabreed, the major residential and commercial centre located close to the Grand Holy masjid in Makkah (Mecca) will accommodate 40,000 people.
SIPOS’ actuation technology will aid automation processes supplying chilled water to meet the cooling demands of the entire scheme. The appointment to supply variable speed actuators is the latest in a series of district cooling and heating contracts that confirm SIPOS’ expertise supporting specialist valve control installations.
