The new ultra-compact family of Mako cameras from AVT will be the first in Stemmer Imaging’s camera portfolio to be available with either a GigE Vision or USB3 Vision data interface.

AVT is a founding member of the Standardization Committee for USB3 Vision. In either format, the entry-level Mako camera family is offers a high cost/performance ratio and footprint of just 29 x 29mm.
Nine Mako models with the GigE Vision interface and resolutions ranging from VGA up to 4 megapixels are currently available. The range includes CCD sensors as well as CMOS sensors with Global Shutter, including CMOS varieties with increased near-infrared sensitivity.
