The system removes error prone manual steps from the tool selection and loading process, providing a complete record of tool offset and life information on the tool. Unlike manually entered data that can cause expensive tool crashes, broken tools or spindles, setup errors and bad quality parts, the tool carries its own information at all times for trouble free operation.
