The RH-N series from Nabtesco Precision Europe features high-performance gear heads that are lightweight, compact and easy to install. For use in a machine tool, the mechanical design engineer additionally has the choice between gears with shaft rotation and case rotation.
In machine tools the RH-N series can be used either with shaft or case rotation to meet the individual requirements of the respective application. Case rotation facilitates mounting as well as tool changing, which can easily be achieved via the output end of the case.
High power density is achieved among other things by reinforcement of the eccentric shaft bearing. Significant weight reduction over previous gear heads ensures a lower mass inertia and therefore improved load conditions.
