USB 3.0 camera series with 18 MP sensor by Aptina or Python 1300 by ON Semiconductor
24 June 2015
The latest CMOS sensors find their place in the second generation of IDS’ industrial camera series USB 3 uEye CP:

The 1/2" CMOS sensor by Aptina provides extremely high-resolution images up to 18 MP (4912 x 3684, 21 fps), 4K Cinema (4096 x 2304, 38 fps) and Ultra HD (3840 x 2160, 40 fps). Thanks to modern BSI pixel technology it is very light-sensitive and therefore the perfect choice for applications in microscopy. The 1.3 MP sensor by ON Semiconductor (1280 x 1024, 169 fps) is considered to be an all-rounder with the perfect combination of image quality and speed which makes it ideal for use in automation applications.
