In the eloProtectM range, additional circuitry has been incorporated to reduce the possibility of manipulation from a non-coded source, and provides a PLe performance level when connected to a suitable safety relay. Each version offers increased sensing distances allowing for a greater misalignment value of between 3 and 5 mm. This results in a reduction of any unwanted influences due to machine vibration. The improved design also offers LED indication with the normally open contact arrangement. There is also an option of an additional control contact.

In the eloProtectE, RFID technology enables the sensors to be coded individually, and with 3 different coding levels to choose from, this allows the tampering protection to be set according to the application. The device has 2 x 400mA current rated outputs and can be used as a standalone device with no need for a safety relay, making it an ideal choice for OEM’s manufacturing small or compact products.  With on board external device monitoring (EDM)/reset/start, and LED diagnostics, eloProtectE is ideal for a wide variety of applications.
