3D measurement
01 August 2016
The new MCS10 multi-component sensor, available from HBM, enables multiple forces and torques along three axes to be simultaneously measured.

The optimised design minimises the effect of crosstalk across the axes, while a variety of configuration options ensures simple integration combined with high precision. Suitable for use in diverse applications such as robotics, test bench design and assembly lines, the compact design of the MCS10 lends itself to a wide range of applications where dual-axis measurement is required.
Featuring a compact and cylindrical design, the latest range of multi-component sensors is also available in a six-component sensor version for additional acquisition of torques in the x, y and z direction.
Easy to use, the new MCS10, which incorporates TEDS functionality combined with HBM measurement electronics, can be simply integrated into a system to achieve accurate test results across the entire measurement chain.
