ENERGY SAVING MOTORS

In addition to reduced energy consumption, all energy efficient NORD motors feature a very durable, low maintenance design.

The series are designed so that in most cases the external dimensions of the motors remain unchanged for a change to a higher energy efficiency class. Normally, no mechanical modifications need to be planned.

Efficient NORD motors are available for 50 Hz and 60 Hz mains, for use in a wide range of regions throughout the world.

IE2 motors offer:

• High, efficiency compliant with standards
• Thermal reserves for high safety levels in the dimensioning of drive units
• Reduced operating costs
• High overload capacity
• Less waste heat due to low losses
• Increased starting and breakdown torques

IE2 systems are normally available for the wide voltage range. The use of IE2 motors in combination with frequency inverters will remain permissible in the years to come.

IE3 motors additionally offer:

• Even better efficiency
• Additional thermal reserves
• Even greater reductions in operating costs
• Even higher overload capacity

IE3 motors are available with powers from 0.12 to 55 kW.
