Single-axis tilt alert switch

The reliable reed switch technology switch with SPST (Form A) action is designed for vertical axis installation, operating a contact closure at <-10˚, with contact release at <+10˚. 

Aimed at heavy duty applications, the fully sealed IS-120 has an IP65 rating and is built to withstand high levels of shock and vibration as well as being suited to lighter duty use. Existing applications include safe level position monitoring for truck bonnets, robot arms and storage vessel closures where its mercury-free construction suits contamination-safe installation. 

The IS-120 operates from a 48 VDC supply with a 0.5 A rated switching current. The compact unit measures approximately 42 x 15 x 28 mm with simple 2-hole mounting and lead wire connection. Its operation temperature range is -40ºC to +125ºC.
