More communications options
27 August 2013
NORD Drivesystems is expanding Ethernet communications options for its frequency inverters as POWERLINK is made available for the centralized SK 500E and EtherNet/IP is added to the SK 500E, as well as the decentralized motor-mounted SK 180E and SK 200E inverters.
Offered as drive-integrated or separate modular Technology Units, these protocols join Profinet and EtherCAT communications options and other fieldbus systems including CANopen, Profibus and DeviceNET.
Frequency inverter solutions from the company are based on cost effective and scalable equipment options that begin with basic entry level drives from 0.75 to 90kW power output with a comprehensive choice of expansion possibilities that add communication, position feedback, PLC programming, safety, I/O expansion and many other functions to match the application.
