Sensor & positioning innovations
26 February 2014
Pepperl+Fuchs will be demonstrating sensor and positioning innovations and showcasing a new generation of ultrasonic sensors, rotary encoders, optical scanners and miniature sensors.

A new range of robust magnetic rotary encoders will be launched at the show, featuring high precision up to 0.1° accuracy combined with increased environmental tolerances in a compact design. The use of magnetic technology removes the requirement for optical discs and mechanical gears and the associated potential for failure.
Additionally, fail-safe rotary encoders up to SIL 3 and matching safe speed monitor units will be on display. Photoelectric developments on offer will include the latest distance measurement sensors and a new high-performance time-of-flight area scanner.
- Cold store scanning
- Common Ethernet protocols supported
- High-end surge protection
- Records & centrally manages filling levels
- Optical sensors for longer operating distances
- RFID Connectivity Via EtherCAT
- Ten green bottles
- Reliable readings on reflective surfaces
- IO-Link master with OPC UA interface
- Multi-turn magnetic encoder pushes optical encoders
