ABB wins at Pump Industry Awards

ABB has won the prestigious Supplier of the Year for the fourth time at this year’s Pump Industry Awards. Backed by the British Pump Manufacturers’ Association (BPMA) the Supplier of the Year award recognises ABB as a “supplier to the pump industry that has demonstrated consistently high levels of technical innovation and developments, environmental awareness, customer service and satisfaction, market penetration and growth.”

ABB is one of the few companies that can provide variable-speed drives and electric motors perfectly matched for pumping systems. Part of ABB’s R&D investments has resulted in a dedicated pump-specific drive, the ACQ810, the UK’s largest range of electric motors and the world’s first IE4 synchronous reluctance motor and drive package.
As well as the Supplier of the Year award, ABB was also a finalist in two other award categories, Technical Innovation of the Year - Projects and Environmental Contribution of the Year.
