High pace of product development

Beijer Electronics strengthened its position with the launch of a much-expanded product offering under own brand within the technology areas HMI, control and drive and several product launches within industrial data communication, among other activities.

The group continued its geographical expansion acquiring the Turkish automation company Petek Teknoloji, which has represented Beijer Electronics since 2005. The acquisition provides a direct access to a new market for Beijer Electronics' complete product portfolio.



While the sales for the year in general were characterised by the hesitant economy, sales within Industrial Data Communication achieved organic growth of ten percent. Almost half of these sales are now sourced from new products developed in recent years.
