Focus on hygiene
16 August 2015
Since April, Eisele is a company member of the European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group (EHEDG), an association of experts from machine and component manufacturing companies, specialists from the food industry as well as research institutes and health authorities.

The organisation was established in 1989 to increase awareness in industrial enterprises for hygiene in the processing and packaging of foods. The main goal of the EHEDG is to contribute to hygiene-compliant construction and design in all areas of food production and therefore to ensure the safe manufacture of foods. The association also supports European legislature and its requirement for hygienic handling, processing and packaging of foods by means of hygiene-compliant machines and in a hygienic environment.
Eisele will continue to expand its hygiene- and cleaning-compliant connection technology and sees its membership in the hygiene network of the EHEDG as an important step for the exchange of information among industry experts.
