Hyperspectral imaging
12 August 2016
For the first time Stemmer Imaging will be showing its new hyperspectral imaging at the PPMA Total Show. The innovative technique can reveal chemical composition information and has applications in the pharmaceutical, medical and food processing industries.

Also on show will be the Boa Pro smart camera from Teledyne DALSA embedded with advanced Sherlock vision software and a multi-camera packaging inspection system.
Based on an intuitive, configurable data processing software platform from Perception Park that makes the scientific methods of hyperspectral analysis readily accessible to everyone, the hyperspectral systems allow the identification and separation of ingredients and substances based on chemical information, which is not possible using conventional colour or monochrome imaging.
