Automated component labelling
12 August 2022
WEIDMÜLLER'S WORKPLACE Solution business unit provides solutions and products to optimise customer work processes. The portfolio includes the MultiMark and MultiCard thermal transfer printers.

Using the MultiMark series and the M-Print PRO configuration software, insertion markers, labels or shrink sleeves can be marked quickly and individually. From single items to large print quantities, markings of all kinds can be produced economically without compromising on quality, with results that are easily legible and resistant to environmental influences.
Addressing the issue of crooked manually applied labels, Weidmüller has developed the THM MultiMark LPC (labeling processing centre) for automatic component labelling. The system instantly positions, prints and applies device labels, automatically lifting the label from the liner and attaching it neatly and reliably. The process is suited to most component geometries. The components can have a height of up to 120mm, so even larger devices can be reliably labelled.
