Maintenance in the spotlight
28 April 2023
Maintec returns on 7th and 8th of June 2023 at Birmingham’s NEC as part of Nineteen Group’s Manufacturing & Engineering Week (M&E Week)

MAINTEC IS the only UK exhibition that is entirely dedicated to predictive maintenance, reliability and asset management. Throughout its 40 years history, the event has continued to meet the evolving needs of the maintenance community focusing on uptime and the tools, innovation, technology and people that support it.
The Maintec Solutions Theatre, sponsored by RS, is at the heart of the Maintec experience and topics due to be covered include everything from a session on the Commonwealth Games entitled - Keeping the games running to session on the critical role of maintenance in achieving net zero. RS themselves will be presenting their findings from a recent survey of more than 1000 maintenance professionals as well as the founder of RS Industria, Richard Jeffers, presenting a thought-provoking session on Predictive Maintenance as a way of life – not a technology.
In addition to hosting presentations on perennially important topics such as eliminating downtime and condition monitoring the Solutions Theatre will also see several case studies presented as well as looking to the future of maintenance with papers and panel discussions on the role AI (Artificial Intelligence) and Machine Learning will play.
Visitors to Maintec can access the latest technology, services, consultancy and thinking and, of course, network with their peers. Among the innovative technology being showcased at this year’s event include acoustic imaging equipment as well as an ATEX approved thermal imaging camera from Teledyne FLIR, parts pooling software from Sparrow Networks and a host of services from CBRE to optimise the running of any type of facility from a life science laboratory to an office building.
However, while for many maintenance professionals a visit to Maintec is enough, for those seeking wider information the fact that Maintec is now placed at the heart of M&E Week means there’s so much more to see and do should you be so inclined.
