Featuring rugged construction and protection, the GL7 is built to withstand harsh environments. It carries an IP69K protection rating, meaning it resists high-pressure, high temperature washdowns, dust, and water ingress. It also delivers strong resistance to vibration (110 m/s²) and impact (1,000 m/s²) to endure rough operational conditions.

A compact form dactor diameter of 68mm makes it suitable for spaces where fit is tight. Slim profile version to facilitate mounting in constrained locations. The beacon offers multi-colour (Red, Amber, Green) illumination, or single-colour amber versions. Clear and distinct flash patterns (such as double flash, triple flash, pulsing) help with visibility even for users with colour vision deficiencies.

Two main control options are supported:

• Wire-lead control: fixed flash patterns, simple wiring, suitable when basic status signalling is sufficient. 
• CAN communication control (SAE J1939): more advanced control of up to 13 flash patterns and four brightness levels, real-time status monitoring, and compatibility with modern vehicle or machinery networks.

• Rated voltage options: 12-24V DC, with certain models rated for 48V DC.
