New applications and solutions manager at STOBER UK
14 June 2026
THE UK subsidiary of global industrial gearbox and drive systems manufacturer, STOBER, has appointed Adam Anders-Holmes as applications and solutions manager.

With a Masters in Electronical Engineering from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, Manchester-based Anders-Holmes (pictured left) has spent the last 17 years with Siemens after he joined the company whilst being sponsored by the E3 Academy.
“I was fortunate to take part in the E3 Academy scheme during my university course,” explains Adam. “It was a fantastic opportunity to understand and experience, first-hand, how my academic and theoretical learning was applied in a company through various work placements with Siemens.”
Anders-Holmes went on to join the company’s graduate programme and spent time working in various areas of the business from product management and engineering to providing post-sales technical support to customers as a helpdesk engineer and then pre-sales applications engineer advising on products and solutions.
In 2018 he was invited to look after the E3 Academy as an on-top role and managed 35 students, many of whom are still working in the business. Latterly, he also managed the graduate programme.
“It was a very proud moment,” states Anders-Holmes. “As a result of my own experience with the E3 Academy, I am very passionate about encouraging and nurturing future talent and I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to be able to do just that.”
After starting his career working with variable speed and servo drives in the customer service team, Adam moved into the motion control business unit where he was tasked with growing Simens’ solution provider network. Then, in 2023, he took on the role of product manager for the company’s servo portfolio.
“After such a long time with one company, I was ready for a new challenge and the role at STOBER UK has afforded me the ideal opportunity,” outlines Anders-Holmes. “My focus will be maximising our growth using the skills, technical knowledge and experience that I have gained over the years. I’d also love to implement an apprenticeship and graduate scheme here in the UK, similar to what is available in STOBER in Germany. Watch this space!”
Martin Preece, head of UK subsidiary for STOBER, comments: “We’re thrilled to have Adam on board as part of the growing STOBER UK team. His career achievements to date speak for themselves. And his ability to understand customers’ unique requirements and provide a perfect technical solution alongside his passion for developing and encouraging young people to consider a career in our industry are key to our continued success. Exciting times ahead for STOBER UK!”
